Via Dolorosa is a street in old Jerusalem where Jesus walked trough His way to His crucification. The meaning in Portuguese is the same as Latin, VIA is the route, the way, the passage, DOLOROSA is the suffering, the painful path where GOD is showing how loves us.
Jesus followers at first had great difficulty to understand Jesus Passion and today thousands continue to do not understand. The power, all the human sentiments that can glorify a person only for his glorification means nothing to GOD's eyes and it is a brief personification only to human eyes and to our societies. Jesus, the most valuable person that lived in our world died at human hands, the fear and ignorance from the responsible for Jesus's crucification are the same that across centuries and today don't follow and understand Jesus messages and His love.
Today I invite you to close your eyes only for a miserable 14 minutes and do in your mind and heart the stations of the cross, be humble, today more than ever and today is the right timing for you to forgive all the people that are hurting you, persecuting you, offending you and don't lose your trust in God and Jesus no matter what they are doing to you.
I will close this post with this message "Don't judge others by their appearance" you can see giants with golden heart, don't be afraid of them and beware the wolves in sheep's clothing.
I invite you to close your eyes and if you are a woman think for some time as being Mary, if you are a man you must think you are Joseph. Leave all your troubles, your everyday trifle and your superior affairs to do this succinct momentum.
Now, imagine those key moments and experience that Mary and Joseph had in their lives, first the annunciation and second the dream, where Joseph cleans once for all the doubts about Mary pregnancy.
Can you feel in your soul the sentiments and the magnitude those moments had in their lives? Maybe not!
It is almost impossible for any of us to have a strong perception about those key moments that Mary and Joseph lived.
This short post is only to do a reflexion and to make you think what those moments can do to a single and every human and when you are reading the bible you must embody in your heart these key moments and understand that the relation between them was always with these moments in their souls and hearts.
P.S. - I have this blog for a awhile and because I am afraid to post some words that may not be according Catholic doctrine I was not so active about posting more how to read the bible, but I promise that as long I will be among you I'll be more active!
Among Christians this is a recurrent issue and in Christianity history was a issue that divided and helped to implement divisions and clashes. I am not a theologist, but as Catholic of course my directives and visions is going to the official Church guidelines about this issue.
I can't imagine that Mary with the huge task to raise Jesus and with the unique experience She had with their maternity, to be possible to imagine that Mary then could had more 6 or 7 children after Jesus birth.
Millions of Christians see this possibility as certain and reading Mathew 13:55 is giving to them the certainty they need. Bible do not give in my opinion concrete and no doubt guidelines about this issue, and Christianity records must be taken into account and the studies and opinions from so many people cannot be erased, not even the Protestantism views about this issue, but I am sorry to contradict who thinks Mary had more children, I tell you, do not doubt about Mary eternal virginity and have faith in Virgin Mary and in Her role besides His Son, JESUS CHRIST, our SAVIOUR.
Let's see some chapters from the bible linked to this issue:
- Mathew 1:25 is one of the strong verses where non-Catholics see as the best example to say that Mary had more children. "And he knew her not till she brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS."
The words Till and Firstborn are the strong allies for those that reading this sentence in a pragmatic way, sees with guarantee that Mary had more children. "Firstborn" only mention that Jesus was in fact the first Mary child, does not emphasize the possibility to have more than one child. "Till" is more complex, Isn't Mathew reinforcing Mary's virginity, even with the "Till" in this sentence you can't presuming that Mary had more children.
I can say, "I will not leave this place till it rains", Can you be so sure that one day it will rain!
Before I continue my reflections on this issue, I must say that I have a strong conviction for a huge possibility for those Brothers and Sisters mentioned in Matthew 13:55-58 can be Joseph's sons and daughters, this is a strong possibility instead to be only their relatives, so let's read these verses.
(Just a note about Anna Katherina Emmerich visons, where she points all these "brothers" as being Jesus' cousins, and Mary of Clopas' sons)
-Matthew 13:55-58 : "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brethren James, and Joseph, and Simon, and Jude. And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence therefore hath he all these things? And they were scandalized in his regard. But Jesus said to them: A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. And he wrought not many miracles there, because of their unbelief." Where for most that sees in this verses the confirmation that Jesus had brothers and sisters, I see the opposite. "And he wrought not many miracles there, because of their unbelief." this unbelief can be seeing right now, where many see JESUS with those brothers and sisters like most people in that time, where He was brother of James, son of the carpenter and with Mary as His mother, but no, the carpenter was His tutor, Mary was more than only His mother and that unbelief was the sign of blindness where to see JESUS as the son of GOD was more than impossible.
Jesus not being Joseph's son, the possibility that all "Brothers and Sisters" to all those people was because Joseph could well be father of all them by a past marriage. No one can say NO to this possibility like no one can say YES.
GOD choose Mary to be Jesus's Mother, but we can't forget that Joseph was included in GOD plans, a man with experience would be more likely to be part of the plan than a young man unskilled for the task and what a hard task to raise Jesus and to protect their family, this gives to us a strong possibility that Joseph was much older than Mary.
Where are Jesus's brothers when He was missing for two days, wasn't that celebrations time, a strong family event, why aren't their brothers with Mary? WHERE ARE THEY? If you say, some are very young and can be with relatives, I can say that all they are older than Jesus and most of them have their own families.
I know you will say, words that wasn't written can't be used to contradict a thesis, we must accept that the exact meaning of some words can deceived a complete judgement.
I will not even put emphasis here about all the others references in the bible to Jesus's brothers, because for me they are only Joseph's sons, relatives or "brothers" referring to His Apostles or followers, so no matter where the word will be used to mention "brother".
The complexity with repeated names in the bible can for sure mix all the genealogical simplicity to see the references for Jude, James, Joseph and Simon.
The last strong reference that most use is when Jesus uses the word "Woman", so in John 19:26-27 we can read "When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own."
Some will be scandalized to see that JESUS in that particular and dolorous moment used the word "Woman" referring His mother. Try to understand the strong meaning of these verses. Jesus was "given" His mother to his predilect Disciple (John the Apostle), the meaning can be interpreted like JESUS "given" Mary to all of us in the figure of the Disciple, so all of us that love JESUS like His Disciple are "receiving" Mary as Our Mother. If Jesus used the word "Mother, behold thy son" can be viewed as Mary being only His Mother or only of the Disciples. From that hour all of us must receive Mary in our homes, because that "Woman" is Our Mother.
This issue will never see a end, there will be always a Christian that will see all the references with the several conclusions. Must important is faith and all these details can be surpassed by that!

Anger is the most easy sentiment that someone can feel deriving from everything you can imagine that others can do to you. So you will be a king in the right place, and not here in this tiny Planet earth if you can love your enemies, laugh to the the evil and do not have afraid of the legions, because the evil alone are week, that's why they work as a Legion. Pray and everything is just fine.

O Ódio é o sentimento que mais facilmente alguém pode sentir provindo de tudo e mais alguma coisa que outros lhe possam fazer. Worldwide, everyone is seeing Chilean miners being rescued and emotions are at very high level, thank GOD the sun is shinning again to all them. When I start to read some news about this tragedy, I was impressed with the 33 number, and more impressed with the ending day of all this tragedy (13th October). It was all this confluence from darkness to light and the numbers that told me to write this post.
Today in Fatima Thousands of people are celebrating the last Fatima Apparition, this brilliant day is the day that Our Lady chosen back to 1917 to do the miracle of the sun, like today in Atacama Desert and worldwide thousands are seeing this event as being for many a miracle, 93 years ago others thousands in Portugal saw the miracle of the sun.
Our Lord Jesus Christ needed 33 Years to illuminate the world, to bring hope and to defeat the death, Our Lady chosen days 13th May to October to do other miraculous event that changed the world with its messages and warnings, GOD is giving once again another brilliant day, this time 13th October 2010.
Some will say that was men who rescued them, others that it was a miracle for them to be found 17 days after the tragedy.
I see more than men in this extraordinary event, we must never lose our Faith and Hope and the sun will shine for sure at the right time.

Hoje, milhares de pessoas celebram a última das aparições em Fátima, este brilhante e radiante dia é o dia em que Nossa Senhora escolheu em 1917 para realizar o milagre do sol, assim como hoje no deserto do Atacama e em todo o mundo milhares assistem a este extraordinário resgate como sendo um autêntico milagre assim também à 93 anos outros tantos milhares assistem ao milagre do sol.
Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo precisou de 33 anos para iluminar e trazer a esperança ao mundo e para derrotar a morte, Nossa Senhora escolheu os dias 13 de Maio a Outubro para realizar outro acontecimento milagroso que iria mudar o mundo com as suas mensagens e avisos, DEUS novamente está nos dando outro dia radioso, desta vez o dia 13 Outubro de 2010.
Muitos, irão dizer que quem salvou estes mineiros foi o Homem, outros que o serem encontrados 17 dias depois da tragédia que foi um milagre.

So many times a Christian thinks about how to live in this world so different compared to Jesus Christ temporal window when HE lived among us.
If we saw the biggest changes that world experienced recently we can find Industrialization and Globalization as the Big Ones. The Changes that world saw with these concepts were so aggressive to a Christian at least according the way we should see and read it in our way of live that it is scared to do a clear analysis.
What can we wait from our future? These two words are so recent in Human Kind history but so strong, that trembles our insignificance.
We do not know, but GOD Knows what will happen to our world, what will be the third one that will change so strongly our world, and it will be positive or negative?
In this tiny text I am resuming my big doubts about conciliate our way of living today of what should be.

Muitas vezes um Cristão pensa em como viver neste mundo tão diferente se compararmos com o tempo em que Jesus Cristo viveu entre nós.
Se procurarmos quais as grandes mudanças que o Mundo sentiu, encontramos a Industrialização e a Globalização como as responsáveis por tão grandes e agressivas mudanças que para um Cristão ver e ler como deve viver e clarificar uma analise é assustador.
O que esperar do nosso futuro mais próximo? Estas duas palavras são tão recentes na história da humanidade mas ao mesmo tempo tão possantes, que estremece a nossa pequenez.
Nós não sabemos, mas Deus sabe qual será o nosso destino enquanto humanidade, e qual será o terceiro conceito que irá mudar tão profundamente o nosso mundo, e será positivo ou negativo?
Resumidamente estou a divagar sobre como será que DEUS quer que vivamos hoje!

The story of Anna Emmerich it is very simple like their life was. Born 7th September 1774, very soon showed her calling to go to a convent, but even to fulfill her dream, it was not easy. But this post it is more to talk about her Visions about Jesus and Mary.
Her Visions are remarkable Jesus images and all what was around Him in very important timings and Anna vision are strong enough for us to understand better all suffering of Jesus and Mary.
Controversial of Course, all Catholics must guide their readings according Vatican approvals and the Bible it is the first to read but I do not see in the writings that others did following Anna sentences to do not recommend that all Christians should read it.

Genesis 3:15 were the first Biblical words related to Blessed Virgin Mary in a prophetic way. With so few words we can see how grateful they are and it resumes the importance of Mary for all Christians. I can understand for non Christ followers how they look to these words and see nothing, but I can't understand how some Christ followers do not see the importance of Mary. I am not a theologian, so I am afraid to release my thoughts about how to read the Bible and Its Words, but I will try to be simple to describe here my views.
The Blessed Virgin Mary devotion it is a beautiful way for all to show how grateful we are for all Her suffering since an Angel appeared to Her annunciating Her Motherhood.
Jesus Christ is the center of our universe, and this word resumes all, and I mean ALL, known or unknown, and Virgin Mary is the Mother of all of us, Her blessed Motherhood and all Her suffering as Mother of the Redeemer emphasize us to be their children, She suffers for and with us, and we must listen to Her, She is a beautiful and perfumed way to see Jesus as priority number one in our lives.
There are too many serpents in our world, and you must belong to Blessed Virgin Mary seed, the serpent will be trying to hurt you and will do it forever.

Em Génesis 3:15 podemos ver as primeiras referencias e proféticas palavras bíblicas relacionadas com a Abençoada Virgem Maria. Podemos ver como numa tão breve citação o quão importante e agradecidas são estas mesmas palavras e aglutina a importância que a Virgem Maria tem para todos os Cristãos.
Estas palavras não dirão nada a ateus e agnósticos e compreende-se, mas já não compreendo como alguns Cristãos não conseguem entender estas palavras e a sua importância. Não sou teólogo, por isso tentarei expressar os meus pensamentos sobre como interpretar a Bíblia de uma forma simples.
A adoração à Abençoada Virgem Maria é uma carinhosa e linda interpretação que damos em agradecimento pelo seu sofrimento desde o preciso momento em que o Anjo Lhe apareceu anunciando a sua maternidade.
Jesus Cristo é o centro do nosso universo, e esta simples palavra significa tudo, mesmo TUDO, conhecido ou por conhecer, e a Virgem Maria é a Mãe de nós todos, a Sua abençoada maternidade e todo o Seu sofrimento como Mãe do Redentor, ilumina-nos e pede-nos para ser-mos seus filhos. Ela sofre com e por nós e temos de A ouvir. Maria é um esplendoroso e perfumado caminho para ver-mos Jesus, seu Filho, como a prioridade número um das nossas vidas.
Existem demasiadas serpentes no nosso mundo, e tu precisas de pertencer à geração da Abençoada Virgem Maria, pois a serpente está sempre à espreita para te ferir e estará para sempre.
ABENÇOADA SEJA NOSSA SENHORA PARA SEMPRE!
Imagine planet Earth like a desert, Sahara, Gobi or Great Basin are only some more desertification areas, there are no oceans, you can drink only once per day and very small quantity, water it is all for you, everyone is living like a Tuareg, can you imagine living like that? No, must of you can't. Without God you can live inside a mansion, full of waitresses, happily with your family, but if you forgot the Creator that gave us the earth as we know it, your life is great but the desert is inside you, so you must flourish your desert.
I am not saying that all of us must live like Amish do or that the modern way of living and all its progress are devil work, no way, but at least stop for a minute and let God taste that minute or better hour per day and be with Him, talk with Him and praise to Him and let His perfume enter inside you.
You can pray daily the Holy Rosary and send flowers to Mary, God chose Her to be Mother of His Son, She is Our Mother, so be with Her, and let your life be perfumed by Her.
With this Iceland Volcano eruption we are seeing how it is so easy for nature to transform our way of living and turn it into chaos, time for humankind stop and think if our way of living it is the best for all. Aren't the world running too fast? Think about it!!
Tenta visualizar o planeta Terra como um deserto, Sahara, Gobi ou o Grande Deserto de Basin como sendo somente mais umas áreas desérticas, os oceanos não existem, e tu só podes beber uma vez por dia e pouca quantidade, a água é o bem mais precioso, todos vivemos como os Berberes do deserto, consegues te imaginar a viver assim?
Penso que a maioria não conseguiria viver assim. Sem Deus tu podes viver no maior dos luxos, com uma casa cheia de empregados e imensamente feliz com a tua família, mas se esqueceres o Criador que deu-nos a Terra tal e qual a conhecemos, a tua vida é esplêndida, mas o deserto habita dentro de ti, daí teres que florescer esse deserto.
Não sou apologista de vivermos como os Amish ou que o nosso actual modo de vida é obra de Satanás, nada disso, mas pelo menos pára por um minuto e deixa Deus saborear esse minuto ou antes uma hora por dia e nesse tempo fala com Ele, acompanha-O, e glorifica-O e deixa que o Seu perfume entre na tua vida.
Podes rezar diariamente o Santo Rosário e assim enviares flores para Maria, Mãe de Jesus, Deus escolheu-A para ser a Mãe de seu Filho, portanto Ela é a Nossa Mãe, está com Ela e deixa a tua vida ser perfumada por Ela.
Nós vemos como foi fácil que a natureza devido à erupção do vulcão na Islândia pode transformar o nosso modo de vida actual num caos, não será tempo para a Humanidade parar um pouco e pensar se este nosso modo de vida é o ideal para todos? Não estará o Mundo a entrar em roda livre? Pensa nisso!!
Today, while watching CNN, I saw Prime Minister of Norway relaxing with his Laptop somewhere in New York waiting to return to his normal life, like him thousands worldwide are waiting to do the same, because ash in the sky is stronger than planes.
Why not to use this waiting time to pray and to read some with God, like all we will return to ash one day, this Iceland volcano is "offering" to us the "Ash week" and we may see it as a pause in our modern lives to re-think our way of life. If you are reading with God, you are with Him, enjoy this pause that nature is offering you, use it well.
Estava eu a ver a CNN, quando vejo o Primeiro Ministro da Noruega, esperando e relaxando agarrado ao seu portátil algures em Nova Iorque e com a sua vida em suspenso devido às cinzas da Islândia e como ele milhares de pessoas por esse mundo fora, pois no céu as cinzas são mais fortes que os aviões.
Que tal usarem este tempo de espera para rezar e ler algo com Deus, como todos nós um dia seremos cinzas ou pó, este vulcão Islandês está-nos a "oferecer" o que poderemos chamar de "A semana das cinzas" e que podemos usar este tempo de pausa como reflexão sobre o nosso modo de vida no mundo moderno. Se estás lendo com Deus, tu estás com Ele e Ele contigo, desfruta esta pausa que a natureza te está oferecendo e usa-a bem.

Fatima was one the most relevant moments not only to Catholic World but to all 20th century and if we saw the timing of apparitions it was in a crucial moment of our universal history.
The passage from XIX century to XX was certainly the most important of all with big transformations, massive immigration from Europe to USA, it was the time of Industrial and Energetic production to send humanity to other scale never seeing before.
Twentieth Century was the most terrific with two big World Wars, big social changes with the surge of "laicité", more and more people are getting caught in their lack of faith.
Messages of Fatima are messages of hope and we can see it as a gift that God are sending to us, for all to open their minds, hearts and eyes and that only with prays and humbling our lives we can understand God with all simplicity that most of the times are hard to understand.
Our Lady of Fatima it is the Queen of Peace, the prophetic messages show to us the importance that peace should have had for Humankind in this particularly century.

As minhas primeiras palavras neste "blog" são dedicadas a Fátima e à importancia das suas mensagens que Nossa Senhora transmitiu ao Mundo através dos Três Pastorinhos.
Fátima foi um dos acontecimentos mais relevantes não só para o mundo Católico e o momento temporal das aparições no Século Vinte tem uma relevância extraordinária para se perceber a dicotomia Paz/Guerra como Céu/Inferno.
A passagem do Século Dezanove para o Vinte foi um dos mais importantes onde o crescendo da produção industrial e energética e a crescente imigração da Europa para os Estados Unidos iriam de certo transformar as mentalidades e fazer enormes mudanças sociais nunca antes vistas na história da humanidade.
O Século Vinte foi dos mais terríveis com duas Grandes Guerras Mundiais e onde a religião passaria a não ser prioridade nas mentes dos governantes e o laicismo entra a dominar as sociedades e isso leva a muitas pessoas perderem a sua fé e a capacidade muitas vezes de a entender.
As mensagens de Fátima são "Lágrimas" de esperança e podemos até vê-las como um presente de Deus para que todos abram as suas mentes e olhos para que percebam que só rezando e sendo humildes é que se consegue perceber Deus na sua simplicidade que muitos não entendem.
Nossa Senhora de Fátima é a Rainha da Paz e as suas proféticas mensagens são um apelo e mostram a importância que a Paz virá a ter no Século Vinte para a humanidade.
